Short answer

Qodo costs $30 a month for 2,500 pooled credits on its Pro Team plan, which Qodo estimates covers about 18 pull request reviews. At $0.012 per credit, 5,000 credits cost $60 a month (about 36 reviews) and 20,000 credits cost $240 a month (about 144 reviews), with overage at the same rate and no credit rollover. Pro Team is designed for up to 30 users; Enterprise is a custom annual contract. There is a 14-day trial and no permanent free tier.

Engineering manager reviewing a pull request next to a monthly tools budget
Qodo now bills a team-wide credit pool, so the number to forecast is pull requests, not seats.

Qodo costs $30 a month for its self-serve Pro Team plan, which buys 2,500 credits pooled across the whole team at $0.012 per credit. Qodo says that covers about 18 pull request reviews a month. Larger packs of 5,000 and 20,000 credits cover about 36 and 144 reviews, and teams of 30 or more users move to a custom Enterprise contract. There is a 14-day trial and no permanent free tier.

That is a very different model from the per-seat pricing many comparison sites still show, so the rest of this post works through what a real team pays, where the credits run out and when the budget is better spent on something other than review.

How much does Qodo cost in 2026?

Qodo's pricing page, checked on October 19, 2026, lists two paid options. Pro Team is self-serve, billed monthly with no commitment and designed for up to 30 users. Enterprise is a custom plan for 30 or more users, sold through a demo and an annual contract.

The important change is the unit. Qodo used to sell a Teams plan per user. Third-party price trackers recorded that seat price dropping from $45 to $30 per user a month in May 2026, and then the per-seat plan and the free Developer tier being replaced by pooled credits around mid-2026. If a review site quotes "$30 per user", it is describing the old plan. Today $30 is the price of the whole team's smallest credit pack.

Qodo's page shows the $30 base price and the per-credit rate. The $60 and $240 figures are the same $0.012 rate applied to the larger packs, which matches what independent price trackers list. Every Pro Team pack includes agentic PR code review, the rules system with no rule limit, Git and IDE integrations, pre-PR review skills, the dashboard and analytics, and cross-repo capabilities.

What does Qodo cost per pull request review?

Using Qodo's own numbers, a review works out to roughly $1.67 (2,500 credits for about 18 reviews at $30). Large or messy pull requests will use more credits than small ones, so treat these as planning estimates rather than quotes.

Pull requests reviewed per monthEstimated creditsEstimated monthly cost at $0.012 per credit
15About 2,100$30, the minimum plan
30About 4,200About $50
100About 13,900About $167
200About 27,800About $333
400About 55,600About $667

Because overage is billed at the same $0.012 per credit, up to a monthly spending cap you set, the pack you pick mostly decides your floor, not your ceiling. Unused credits expire at the end of each monthly cycle, so buying a bigger pack than you use is money lost. A ten person team that merges two pull requests per developer per working day opens around 400 pull requests a month, which puts full coverage near $667 a month. That is usually the point where a team either reviews selectively or talks to sales about Enterprise.

Qodo enterprise pricing and what triggers it

Qodo Enterprise has no public price. You book a demo and get an annual contract. Three things push a team there. The first is size, since Pro Team is designed for up to 30 users. The second is security requirements: SSO/SAML, audit logs, bring your own LLM keys, single-tenant SaaS and on-prem or air-gapped deployment are Enterprise only. The third is process, because Gerrit support, custom agentic workflows, the self-learning system, advanced analytics, an SLA and a dedicated customer success manager are also reserved for Enterprise.

If your security team insists on SSO for every developer tool, budget for an Enterprise conversation from the start rather than planning around the $240 pack.

Is there a free version of Qodo?

No. Qodo's pricing page states that it does not offer a permanent free tier. You get a 14-day trial with no credit card, and reviews stop when it ends unless you pick a paid plan. Open source projects can apply to the Qodo for Open Source program for free access, but commercial teams pay from $30 a month.

When CodeIndex is a better use of the budget

Qodo reviews pull requests. CodeIndex does not review pull requests and does not write code. It indexes your GitHub repositories so anyone on the team can ask questions about your codebase in plain English and get answers that cite files and line ranges. They solve different problems, and many teams that look at Qodo actually have both.

The reason this matters for pricing is that a lot of review time is spent on understanding, not judging. A reviewer opens a pull request in a service they have not touched in a year and spends twenty minutes working out how the payment retry flow fits together before they can say anything useful. An AI reviewer comments on the diff. It does not teach the human reviewer how the surrounding system works.

If that is your bottleneck, the comparison looks like this:

Full limits are on the CodeIndex pricing page. And if the real problem is that the review queue is longer than your team can handle, no tool fixes that. An AI reviewer will not replace a missing senior engineer, and sometimes the honest answer is to hire developers by skill for the parts of the codebase that keep stalling. How to estimate your Qodo bill before the trial ends

  1. Count the pull requests your team merged last month in GitHub. That is your monthly review volume.
  2. Divide by 18 and multiply by $30 to get a rough monthly cost at Qodo's own estimate, then round up to the next credit pack.
  3. During the trial, watch how many credits your largest pull requests use. If they run well above the average, add 20 to 30 percent to your estimate.
  4. Set a monthly spending cap before you move to a paid plan, so overage cannot surprise finance.
  5. Check whether you need SSO, audit logs or on-prem. If yes, start the Enterprise conversation now.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Qodo cost per month?

Qodo Pro Team starts at $30 a month for 2,500 credits pooled across the team, at $0.012 per credit. At that rate, 5,000 credits cost $60 and 20,000 credits cost $240 a month. Billing is monthly with no commitment. Enterprise, for 30 or more users, is a custom annual contract.

Does Qodo have a free plan?

No. Qodo does not offer a permanent free tier. Teams get a 14-day trial with no credit card, and reviews pause when the trial ends. Qualified open source projects can apply to the Qodo for Open Source program for free access.

How many reviews do you get with Qodo Pro Team?

Qodo estimates about 18 reviews a month on 2,500 credits, about 36 on 5,000 credits and about 144 on 20,000 credits. Bigger pull requests use more credits, so your actual count depends on the size of your changes.

Do Qodo credits roll over?

No. Qodo credits expire at the end of each monthly billing cycle. If you run out early, overage is charged at the same per-credit rate as your base plan, up to a monthly spending cap you set yourself.

How much is Qodo Enterprise?

Qodo does not publish an Enterprise price. It is a custom annual contract for teams of 30 or more users, and it adds SSO/SAML, audit logs, bring your own LLM keys, Gerrit support, an SLA and single-tenant or on-prem deployment. You get a quote after booking a demo.

What is a cheaper alternative to Qodo for codebase questions?

If your team mostly needs to understand code rather than get automated review comments, CodeIndex answers plain-English questions about private GitHub repos with file and line citations for a flat $49 a month for 5 users or $149 for 20 users, billed annually. It does not review pull requests.
